My name is Paul. I tattoo and paint a lot. The nickname Proper got tagged on my name the first day of my apprenticeship and stuck. I don't know. I guess speaking in complete sentences and moderate to average hygiene make one stand our in this scene. As far as my work goes I have been guided by a relatively simple ethose. I draw and paint the stuff that I'd like to have tattooed on my person or hanging on my wall. I love that tattooing is a collaboration. Most of all I love fellow tattooers. I got tattooed for 13 years before picking up a machine and the people I've been lucky enough to meet and know are the most varied and interesting bunch to occupy any profession.
